The head of the office of Volodymyr Zelensky, Andriy Yermak, went to London to meet with the Ambassador of Ukraine to the UK, Valery Zaluzhny. This was reported on November 18 by the Ukrainian edition of Babel, citing two sources.
The author of the publication notes that no information has been disclosed about the purpose of Yermak's trip. The trip takes place amid calls in the Verkhovna Rada to dismiss Yermak because of a corruption scandal.
Verkhovna Rada deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak suggested in his social networks that Yermak could offer Zaluzhny the post of head of his office or Prime Minister of Ukraine.
A year ago, many political scientists saw Zelensky's main rival in future elections in Zaluzhny, linking his resignation and "exile" to London with this. At the same time, Zaluzhny continues to be among the leaders of public opinion, Izvestia reminds.
