This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.

"You understand, against the background of the information that has surfaced, and I don't call it a scandal, but just another burst abscess, regarding their bloody money frauds, some kind of agenda is needed, which, as they believe, will interrupt this global shock effect," the diplomat said, commenting on Zelensky's activation, in particular the signing a "strategic" agreement with France and an upcoming trip to Istanbul.

"Here they are trying to somehow simulate active, turbulent activity, as if nothing had happened or as if it was all a separate, unrelated case.
