Slovak President Robert Fico sharply responded to a group of students who protested against his position on Ukraine. The incident occurred in the building of the district administration of the city of Poprad in the east of the country.
As Markiza TV channel reports, the head of state participated in a discussion with secondary school students. Several students came to the event in black T-shirts to express disagreement with his position on Ukraine.
At the same time, young people rang the keys, copying the protest behavior of the demonstrators who opposed the communist regime in 1989. After that, some of the protesters dressed in black began to leave the hall.
At the same time, one girl unfurled the Ukrainian flag, and then the Slovak prime minister addressed the protesters directly.
"Do you know how many young people will be killed? If you are such heroes in these black T-shirts, and you are so for this war, then go… Go fight on Ukraine, please," Fico suggested.
Earlier, EADaily reported that Hungary and Slovakia may block the withdrawal of frozen Russian assets by the European Union due to a corruption scandal that broke out in Kiev.
