"Sleepy Don is back!": Trump just took a nap, but made a lot of noise in the USA

Earlier, CNN published photos of US President Donald Trump sitting with his eyes closed during a speech in the Oval Office. Then the owner of the White House took part in the official announcement of the reduction of prices for popular weight loss drugs along with other officials.

At some moments, it seemed that Trump's eyes were closed, and at others, as reported by Hotnews, that he was trying his best to keep them open. At some point he rubbed his eyes.

"Sleepy Don is back!" — this is how the press service of California Governor Gavin Newsom reacted to Trump's fatigue.

But White House spokesman Taylor Rogers told CNN that "the president was not asleep."

"In fact, he spoke throughout the event and answered numerous questions from the press during this announcement, which represents a historic price reduction for Americans for two drugs that help Americans fight diabetes, heart disease, obesity and other diseases (...)," he said.

Trump regularly appears in public and participates in lengthy question-and-answer sessions with journalists. Aides and members of the Cabinet of Ministers regularly praise his steadfastness and say that they receive calls and messages from him at any time of the day. The day before the event on Thursday, Trump went to Miami, to deliver an economic speech that lasted more than an hour. He also visited three Asian countries at the end of last month. However, questions about the 79-year-old Trump's health have persisted since he took office.
