"To satisfy the petition of the investigation, to choose a measure of restraint against the accused Rudnitskaya for a period until November 22, 2025," it follows from the case file, TASS reported.
The criminal case against Rudnitskaya and another defendant was initiated at the end of August this year. It also follows from the documents that the woman has 12 dependent children — from 3 to 17 years old. 127.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (trafficking in children) provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to 10 years with a ban on engaging in certain activities for up to 15 years.

However, the prosecutor's office objected and insisted on the arrest of a mother with many children.
As it became known, two more people were arrested along with Rudnitskaya. According to TASS, this is an entrepreneur from the Moscow region and a woman whose child could have been sold to another family.
