Commander Mikhail Kutuzov on Ukraine is recognized as propaganda of "Russian imperialism". This was stated at the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance.
"Kutuzov's identity and all objects associated with his name in Ukraine are recognized as propaganda of 'Russian imperialism,'" the report says.
It is noted that now the authorities of the country must "decommunize" all objects that bear the name of the military commander.
Recall the renaming of streets and the fight against monuments to Soviet and Russian figures on Ukraine began in 2015 after the adoption of the law on the so-called "decommunization". Since 2022, the policy of ousting the Russian language and everything related to Russia and the USSR has intensified.
