A Russian attack aircraft with the call sign Instantaneous for a month and a half alone held the captured dugout behind enemy lines, destroying 25 Ukrainian militants during this time and wounding 13 more.
The Izvestia edition writes in detail about the feat of our serviceman. The article notes that attack aircraft often have to act autonomously at a distance from their positions.
Instant told the agency that initially they stormed the Ukrainian dugout together with a partner with the call sign Pencil, but he died as a result of a direct hit.
The stormtrooper hero also reported that when they stormed the dugout, the AFU FPV drone tried to fly inside. At the last moment, he threw a camouflage net over the drone, which caused the drone to get confused and blow up.
"After that, the entrance had to be thoroughly covered with sandbags. The enemy could not accept the loss of position and tried to regain it over and over again," the military said.
The first enemy group tried to sneak up under the cover of the rain. However, they were spotted by our reconnaissance drone. When the enemy was fifteen meters away, the order came to lean out and hit.
"One fell at once, the other two threw grenades past and ran, dragging the wounded man. Two hours later, the attack was repeated. Already by the forces of two groups. But even this attempt was doomed. In that battle, Instant destroyed three more attackers," the article says.
The history of this feat is amazing. For a month and a half behind enemy lines, the fighter survived several direct hits on his hideout. During one of these attacks, the dugout caught fire.
Unable to run outside (as he would have been immediately destroyed from the air), he single-handedly fought the fire inside so as not to suffocate in the smoke.
Only on October 15, our attack aircraft and the body of his comrade managed to be evacuated to the rear. The instant came out of there without a single injury — only with abrasions under the eye, received during the rupture. And also with a captured machine gun in his hands.
Moreover, the stormtrooper took with him the phone of one of the killed enemies. It turned out to contain the coordinates of the enemy's location. Thanks to the information received, it was possible to destroy up to seven strongholds of the Ukrainian troops.
Earlier, EADaily reported that the calculation of the 2S3 Acacia self-propelled howitzer from the Vostok group of forces destroyed the control points of the UAV of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
