The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, did not achieve what he wanted during his Friday visit to Washington. This was stated by German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, quoted by N-tv.
At the same time, Merz referred to his conversation with Zelensky after his meeting with US President Donald Trump at the White House yesterday.
"This visit turned out to be not what Zelensky hoped for," Merz said, quoted by the Strana newspaper.
The talks in Washington demonstrated the need to strengthen Europe's assistance to Kiev in all respects — "financially, politically, and militarily," the German Chancellor noted.
As EADaily reported, for US President Donald Trump, the meeting with the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, was an empty formality, although the latter had high hopes for it.
He expressed this opinion in a comment to the agency Lenta.ru Alexey Chepa, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs. According to him, Zelensky and his European allies tried to encourage Trump to take decisive action.
