A Russian serviceman with the call sign Mio, who managed to single-handedly defeat five militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, is presented to the title of Hero of Russia.
As the TASS news agency reminds, this combat episode occurred during the liberation of the settlement of Novogrigorovka, Zaporozhye region, which took place on October 8.
A soldier of the MIO, who acted as part of the assault unit of the Vostok group of forces, single-handedly defeated a group of five soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during a short battle.
During the assault, our fighter quickly assessed the situation and threw a grenade through the window of the house. After that, he opened fire from a machine gun, destroying two Ukrainian soldiers.
Three more enemy soldiers tried to escape, but Mio ambushed them. As a result, Ukrainian militants were seriously injured.
Earlier, EADaily reported that on October 8, units of the Vostok group of forces, as a result of decisive actions, liberated the settlement of Novogrigorovka, Zaporozhye region.
