Russia has launched an investigation into the possible connection of singer Alla Pugacheva with foreign intelligence services. This was told to RT by the head of the Federal Security and Anti-Corruption Project (FPBC) Vitaly Borodin.

"We are currently investigating Pugacheva. We believe that she has a connection with foreign intelligence services. And I admit that her last interview was organized by the UK special services," the public figure said.

According to Borodin, everything took place under the control of the British special services, and according to his information, the singer received $ 2 million from Mikhail Khodorkovsky for this❶.

The head of the FBK recalled that the organization has repeatedly asked to recognize Pugacheva as a foreign agent, sent a number of appeals to the competent authorities to initiate a criminal case on the justification of terrorism.

"We have laws, there is a Criminal Code, there is a Constitution, everything seems to be there, but, most likely, there is no political will. If an ordinary person had come out and told the whole world that he supported Dzhokhar Dudayev, he would have been arrested immediately. And y Pugacheva has a different status," Borodin concluded.

As EADaily reported, in March last year, the head of the FBK sent an appeal to the Prosecutor General's Office demanding that Pugacheva be recognized as a foreign agent. The reason was the singer's reaction to the words of People's Artist of the Russian Federation Stas Mikhailov. Pugacheva said that "normal people are not going to return" to Russia.
