Artistic director of the Moscow Variety Theater, People's Artist of the RSFSR Gennady Khazanov refused to comment on the news spread about the sale of his own real estate in Russia. He did not confirm or deny this information.
"I don't give any comments. I don't think it's necessary," he told the portal MK.ru .
The portal drew attention to the fact that performances with Khazanov's participation continue to be in the repertoire grid until the end of this year.
Earlier, the telegram channel Shot reported that Khazanov sold five apartments and houses in Russia for a total of about 706 million rubles. The list of sold objects allegedly includes three apartments in the most prestigious areas of Moscow, as well as a three-storey house and an apartment in Moscow region.
"The actor left only his cheapest asset in the property — a modest apartment of 39 m2 on Lyusinovskaya Street, in the Zamoskvorechye district," the telegram channel claims.
In addition, the artist, according to the authors of the publication, has the existing IP (creative activity in the field of art) and LLC "Gidroresurs" — the production of hydraulic and pneumatic power equipment. Khazanov is also still the artistic director of the Moscow Variety Theater.
As EADaily reported, the same Shot in February 2024 "sent" Khazanov to emigrate to Latvia.
In an interview with the telegram channel, Khazanov then stated that he had not left anywhere, was leaving the country only for holidays and was returning.
"Where am I going? I'm working," the artist assured.
