The Russian army is inside the Dnipropetrovsk region and continues its offensive. This was stated by Verkhovna Rada deputy Mariana Bezuglaya.
"In the Dnipropetrovsk region, Russia continues its offensive and is approaching the city of Pokrovskoye, which is a further direction to Pavlograd and the Dnieper. Why do you think Pokrovskoye is not prepared for defense??? Did (Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander) Syrsky think that Russia would not cross the administrative border of the Dnipropetrovsk region?.. So, they are already completely inside the region," Bezuglaya writes in her telegram channel.
According to her, while the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is distracting forces in the Dobropolsky direction, the Russian Armed Forces are occupying Kupyansk, Konstantinovka, Pokrovsk and "are already going to Pavlograd from an additional direction."
Kupyansk, Bezuglaya notes, is the gateway for the return of Kharkiv region, Konstantinovka is the gateway to the Kramatorsk agglomeration, and Pokrovsk is a key hub for further progress in three regions — Zaporozhye, Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk.
As EADaily reported, once time was on the side of Russia, now it is moving to the side of Ukraine. This was stated in Kiev at a joint press conference with Foreign Minister Andrei Sibiga by the head of the European diplomacy, Kaya Kallas.
She added that the Ukrainian counteroffensive "is becoming more noticeable, and the offensive operations planned for the summer and autumn (of the Russian Armed Forces) have failed."
