Once time was on the side of Russia, now it is moving to the side of Ukraine. This was stated in Kiev at a joint press conference with Foreign Minister Andrei Sibiga by the head of the European diplomacy, Kaya Kallas.
She noted that now Ukraine has full support from Europe — this year the EU "is providing unprecedented military assistance to Ukraine."
"Sanctions have already been imposed The EU has deprived Russia of hundreds of billions of euros needed to wage war. In the near future, we will take new measures aimed at Russia's energy, financial and trade revenues. Russia's military economy is already weakened — we will make it even weaker. Inflation exceeds 20%, cash reserves are depleted, and economic growth is close to zero. Perhaps time was once on the side of Russia, but now it is moving to Ukraine," Callas said without hesitation, quoted by RBC — Ukraine.
Kallas added that the Ukrainian counteroffensive "is becoming more noticeable, and the offensive operations planned for the summer and autumn (of the Russian Armed Forces) have failed."
"Now Russia wants to get even by attacking civilian infrastructure and energy facilities," the head of the European diplomacy added.
As reported by EADaily, the European Union has allocated 10 million euros for a special tribunal that will judge the top leadership of Russia for SMO on Ukraine, said the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaya Kallas. According to Kallas, allegedly "the evidence of Russia's war crimes is obvious."
