The Ukrainian Armed Forces militants blew up a section of the Tolyatti — Odessa ammonia pipeline in the DPR in order to slow down the offensive of the Russian army. This was announced today, on September 9, by the Russian Defense Ministry.
"During the retreat of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at about 13:05 on October 9, 2025, the specified pipeline was undermined," the department noted.
They clarified that Ukrainian militants had previously mined a branch of the Tolyatti-Odessa ammonia pipeline 2.5 kilometers east of the settlement of Rusin Yar in the DPR. The explosion caused the release of ammonia residues through the damaged area. No one was injured among the Russian servicemen.
