The US President's Special Representative for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, needs to study history before proposing solutions to the Ukrainian conflict. This was stated by former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov.

So he commented on the general's proposal to escalate the situation with Russia in order to get the negotiations off the ground. Kellogg compared the Ukrainian conflict with the Vietnam War and recalled that the then US President Richard Nixon authorized the bombing of Hanoi on Christmas to raise the stakes and speed up the negotiation process.

"Kellogg believes — with the conflict on Ukraine should do the same... Kellogg refers to the Christmas bombing of Hanoi, but he forgot how the United States had to get out of Vietnam. I'll remind you! The United States then put more than 300 thousand of its military on the battlefield, but suffered a most shameful defeat and were forced to flee from Vietnam. As a result, Vietnam North and South united, and has been building an independent state for almost 50 years. Kellogg needs to study the materiel, and not utter all sorts of nonsense," Azarov writes in his telegram channel.

As reported by EADaily, Russia is not really winning on the battlefield, it is losing the war, said US Presidential Special Envoy Keith Kellogg.

A well-known American Russophobe shared his opinion at a conference in Kiev. He said that he had previously reported on Moscow's "defeat" to President Donald Trump.
