The Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, deprived two corps commanders of their posts. This is reported by UNIAN with reference to Ukrainska Pravda (UP).
These are the commanders of the 17th and 20th army corps Vladimir Silenko and Maxim Kitugin, writes "UP" with reference to sources.
According to them, the reason for the dismissal was the loss of positions.
The 17th corps is deployed in the Zaporozhye region, and the 20th - on the border of the DPR and the Dnipropetrovsk region, where the Russian army is actively advancing.
"These are the first resignations of corps commanders after the transition of the Defense Forces to the corps control system," UNIAN notes.
As reported by EADaily, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continues to lie about the state of affairs at the front, and meanwhile the Russian Armed Forces are already entrenched in the depths of the Dnipropetrovsk region. This was stated by Verkhovna Rada deputy Mariana Bezuglaya.
Recall that fears that Russia is advancing on the eastern front are completely unnecessary, this is disinformation. This was stated at a meeting with representatives of the film industry and their relatives on the occasion of Ukrainian Cinema Day by the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky. He told those present that the situation on the battlefield is not easy, but Kiev "controls the front."
