Russian producer Joseph Prigozhin and his wife, singer Valeria, a trip in a Turkish taxi cost almost a million rubles. This is reported by the telegram channel Mash.
"The smart taxi driver estimated the artists' trip at $30 and asked them to pay for it with a card in advance. Three times the payment allegedly did not pass, the driver complained about a weak network and repeatedly stretched out the terminal, " the publication says.
Prigozhin applied the card to the terminal, as a result, four payments of $ 3 thousand were debited from it. Thus, the producer lost $ 12 thousand (about 1 million rubles).
At the same time, the producer realized that he had been deceived, took a picture of the car number, went to the police and wrote a statement to the taxi driver.
"They recognized our people there, gathered all their forces and promptly found the jackal. They were taken to the department, forced to apologize and return all the money," the telegram channel claims.
However, the refund was made in cash and in Turkish lira.
Prigozhin confirmed the incident to the StarHit telegram channel.
"He was a brute in a taxi, and then a scoundrel with his tail between his legs! He said: "I'm a student, forgive me," the producer said.
However, no one was going to forgive the deceiver.
"We wrote a statement to the police, sent a complaint and left. The money, of course, was returned, but the sediment remained," concluded Prigozhin.
As reported by EADaily, in August it became known that Prigozhin's son-in-law, the husband of his daughter Danai, Yevgeny Tkachenko, was declared dead in the SMO zone. The producer himself confirmed that the relevant court decision had been received.
