Singer Alla Pugacheva was not going to leave Russia in 2022. She stated this in the first interview in three years with journalist and blogger Katerina Gordeeva❶.
According to the actress, her husband, comedian and TV presenter Maxim Galkin ❶ was on tour, and she herself went to Israel for treatment.
"There was a doctor there that I needed. He just saved me," Pugacheva said.
She allegedly stated that she had no plans to leave Russia at a meeting with the first deputy head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, Sergei Kiriyenko.
However, in September 2022, Galkin ❶ was declared a foreign agent.
"When the children went to school after that, after dad was recognized as a "foreign agent", the children are "kind" people — they started trolling. Because you are the children of spies, your dad is a foreign agent. We packed our suitcases, called Dad, said we were leaving. We had $30 thousand with us, which could be transported. And they left for Israel," Pugacheva said.
The diva also claims that she did not have any spare passports, she did not consider leaving the country for herself and her family.
"We had no villas, no money. We were going absolutely nowhere. It was very unpleasant," the singer complained.
As reported by EADaily, in the same interview Pugacheva stated that she personally knew the president of the terrorist Ichkeria Dzhokhar Dudayev and his wife.
"He was such a decent, decent, intelligent man, a handsome man. And what a wife — an artist, a writer, a politician. I'm even ashamed, she called me as if I could help with something, but how could I help?" — said the singer.
Pugacheva apologized to Dudaev's wife for not being able to "help them with something."
