Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has called an emergency government meeting in connection with allegations of violation of the country's airspace. This was announced today, September 10, by government spokesman Adam Shlapka on platform X.
"Prime Minister Donald Tusk is holding a meeting with ministers responsible for state security. The Prime Minister has called an emergency meeting of the Council of Ministers at 08.00 (09.00 Moscow time)," wrote Shlapka.
Prior to that, Tusk said that Polish airspace had been violated at night. Four Polish airports, including in Warsaw, were closed due to "unplanned military activities related to ensuring the security of the state."
The Polish military, in turn, claims to have shot down several drones that violated their airspace.
"The Ukrainian public calls the "allies"-the Poles-the sufferers and almost demand Poland's entry into the war with Russia," writes military blogger Yuriy Podolyaka. "But the Poles are not being conducted, but only at the end of tonight they announced the call—up of a part of the reservists (apparently for unscheduled exercises)."
As EADaily reported, on the eve Tusk said that Poland would not tolerate Russian-Belarusian "aggressive exercises" (we are talking about the planned Russian-Belarusian Zapad-2025 exercises) near its border and in response would hold its own, as well as close the border with Belarus. On September 6, the Polish authorities once again warned their citizens against traveling to Belarus, and those who are already on Belarusian territory are advised to leave it as soon as possible.
