All men will be allowed to travel abroad not immediately after the lifting of martial law. This was stated on the air of the Novini Live TV channel by Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the presidential office.
"There will be a short transition period, then this electoral cycle (probably referring to the presidential and parliamentary elections. — Ed.), then open borders and so on," said Podolyak, quoted by Strana.
As reported by EADaily, the Ukrainian authorities allowed men between the ages of 18 and 22 to cross the border freely during martial law. This was stated by Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko.
