As a result of active offensive actions, Russian units from the Zapad group of forces liberated the settlement of Kolodezi in the Donetsk People's Republic.
This is stated in the latest military summary, which was published on Monday, September 1 on the official resources of the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
"As a result of active actions, units of the Zapad group of forces liberated the settlement of Kolodezi in the Donetsk People's Republic," the report says.
It is reported that our troops defeated the formations of two mechanized and motorized infantry brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Borovskaya Andreevka, Kupyansk, Osinovo, Peschanoe, Petropavlovsk, Kharkov region, Karpovka, Shandrigolovo and The average of the Donetsk People's Republic.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in this sector of the front amounted to 230 servicemen per day, a British-made Mastiff armored car, an Novator armored combat vehicle, 14 vehicles, three artillery pieces, four electronic warfare stations and four ammunition depots.
It should be noted that the Russian military in mid-August already liberated the Wells as a result of a deep breakthrough of the defensive formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Ukrainian command has transferred reserves to this site in order to stop the breakthrough.
For some time, the enemy managed to stabilize the situation with counterstrikes and knock our units out of the Wells. However, as a result of heavy losses, the enemy forces were exhausted. Our troops resumed their offensive and again captured this important village.
Earlier, EADaily reported that Russian units from the Zapad group of forces were deeply wedged into the enemy's defensive formations in the area of the Shandrigolovo settlement in the Krasnolimansk direction.
