Russian units from the Zapad group of forces are deeply wedged into the enemy's defensive formations in the area of the Shandrigolovo settlement in the Krasnolimansk direction.

This was told to the TASS news agency on Monday, September 1, advisor to the head of the DPR Igor Kimakovsky. He explained that our troops literally "cut" the enemy group in this sector of the front.

"In the area of the settlement of Shandrigolovo, our troops cut the enemy's grouping. Our forces have reached the highway between Novoselovka and Derilovo," the adviser said.
