Cold weather in the special military operation zone (SMO) will not affect the performance of combat missions using robotic equipment. About it in Pravda.Military expert, member of the presidium of the organization "Officers of Russia" Andrey Golovatyuk told En.
Golovatyuk stressed that with cloudy weather or rains, the use of drones is difficult.
"Visibility is decreasing, fogs interfere with work, but the weather does not prevent the performance of combat missions with the use of automated means," the specialist explained.
In addition, all equipment undergoes special maintenance during the transition from summer to winter, and there are special technical measures that help maintain its operability in all weather conditions.
"Now all robotics is done taking into account the temperature variation in the range from -30 to +30 degrees. Therefore, nothing has changed much with the equipment," said Golovatyuk.
He added that living conditions may change for soldiers, but Russian fighters have already learned how to carry out the necessary relocations in a coordinated manner, taking into account weather changes.
