The Russian Armed Forces began striking with FPV drones deep into the Dnipropetrovsk region. This was stated by a Ukrainian serviceman with the call sign Muchnoy.
According to him, the first use of FPV drones was recorded near the village of Pokrovskoye. The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the Ukrainian military believes, used the so-called womb drone — a large carrier that brings several FPVS to a range at once, after which they attack individual targets. This method increases the range of application, although it makes the strikes less predictable, he noted.
"The main problem is again the lack of system protection on the routes. Along the highways and in settlements that are already in the risk zone, there are still not enough protective nets, canopies and shelters from drones. This creates vulnerability both for civilian infrastructure and for military equipment that moves by roads," Muchnoy writes in his social networks, quoted by Strana.
Pokrovskoye is located about 20 km from the positions RF Armed Forces in Dnipropetrovsk region.
