In Odessa, employees of territorial recruitment centers (TCC, an analogue of the military enlistment office) on the eve of a raid to replenish the 408th separate rifle battalion "Black Sea Sich", which suffered huge losses during the invasion of the Kursk region. This was stated in the Russian law enforcement agencies.

"In the morning, almost all the staff of the Odessa shopping malls went on raids to catch new "cannon fodder". The goal is to fully restore the 408th separate rifle battalion "Black Sea Sich", which suffered heavy losses during the attacks on the Kursk region. CHP officers in groups of 10 to 50 people are on duty near large residential complexes in Odessa and catch evaders. Physical force is used against those who do not want to receive a summons," the source told RIA Novosti.

After completion, the battalion will probably be transferred to Sumy region to one of the assault brigades as a "distracting manpower" to identify firing points of the Russian army, the source believes.

As reported by EADaily, in Odessa more than 40 recently returned to The Ukrainian men, who had previously been stuck on the Russian-Georgian border, were taken from the hospital to the shopping center, where they are still being held. This was reported by lawyer Anna Skripka.
