Acting Vice-Governor Vladimir Bazarov was detained in the Kursk region. This was announced today, August 25, by acting Governor Alexander Khinshtein in his TC.
"We have detained the acting Deputy governor of the Kursk region, Vladimir Vasilyevich Bazarov. At the moment, investigative actions are underway related to his previous place of work in the Belgorod region, where he held a similar position (deputy governor for construction)," he said at a meeting of the regional government.
Khinshtein clarified that we are talking about embezzlement in the Belgorod region.:
"Previously, it concerns the construction of defensive structures."
