"The intensity of the fighting is not decreasing. If there were 110,000 Russian troops operating in the Pokrovsky direction before the start of the [offensive campaign], I just don't know how to describe this scale. In Pokrovsk, the population before the war was 60 thousand people. That is, the Russian army is actually twice as large as the population was before the war," Tregubov explained, quoted by UNIAN.
According to him, it is worth expecting a decrease in the intensity of fighting in the DPR sometime by October.
"The question is, until what month of autumn. Most likely, somewhere before October. Then there will be problems not so much with the personnel, but with the conditions under which it will not be so convenient for them to maintain the intensity that they have now," Tregubov said.
As EADaily reported, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine transferred an elite special battalion of the Magyar Birds UAV to the city of Vladimirovka in the Krasnoarmeysky (Pokrovsky) direction. This was stated in the Russian law enforcement agencies.
