EADaily adds: telegram channel "Krasny Liman Info" notes that over the past day, the Russian Armed Forces have made progress towards the settlement of Stavka, which is located north of the Red Estuary, developing an offensive from western positions at the Wells and Peaceful in the DPR.
According to local sources, the Ukrainian forces are actively strengthening their defenses in the Stavki area, which indicates the strategic importance of this settlement for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In particular, engineering works on retrofitting positions and defensive lines were recorded in Drobyshevo. The location of the village of Stavka on a hill creates additional advantages for the defenders, the TC points out.
"At the same time, Russian units began advancing into the western part of Kirovsk. It is reported that the Ukrainian formations are resisting, but are experiencing a shortage of personnel and avoid direct clashes, preferring to use remote weapons. The situation in the Kirovsk area remains tense, the fighting continues," the channel writes.
