Estonia's expulsion of a Russian diplomat is not the first hostile action on the part of Tallinn, Moscow's retaliatory steps will be worked out. This was stated at a briefing by Deputy Director of the Information and Press Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexei Fadeev.
"This is not the first such hostile action by Estonia. I must say that we have even got used to it," he noted, "and as for the response steps, they are usually worked out for some time and then made public. Therefore, we will provide a timely comment on what measures we will take against Estonian diplomats."
As EADaily reported earlier today, the Estonian Foreign Ministry declared the first secretary of the Russian Embassy in Tallinn persona non grata and demanded that he leave the country. According to the Estonian Foreign Ministry, "the diplomat was directly involved in undermining the constitutional order and the legal system" of the country.
