The General Staff of Ukraine said that this morning the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck a UAV at a large oil refinery in Saratov region. This is reported by Bloomberg.
Earlier, the governor of the region, Roman Busargin, said that Ukrainian drones attacked an "industrial enterprise" in the region, the agency notes. According to the governor, the activity of Ukrainian drones also caused temporary flight delays at the local airport and at least one person died as a result of falling UAV debris in a residential area.
Videos posted on Russian social networks show flames and clouds of black smoke in the area where the Rosneft oil refinery is allegedly located.
It is noted that the information "cannot be verified by independent sources."
This morning about the attack on Saratov refinery was written by military correspondent Yuri Kotenok.
"The enemy attacked the Saratov refinery with drones at night. According to preliminary data, the object was damaged," he noted.
