Russian Federation and China will hold talks at the high-level week of the UN General Assembly in September, Chinese Ambassador to Russia Zhang Hanhui told Izvestia.
"There is such a tradition: our delegations, heads of delegations meet at the UN site. Always. This is the 80th anniversary of the formation of the UN. There will definitely be a meeting," the ambassador said.
The 80th anniversary session of the UN General Assembly will open on September 9 in New York, and in two weeks the general debate will begin.
