The star of the films "It" and "Home Alone" Tim Curry has died

British actor and singer Tim Curry died at the age of 81. This is reported by the TMZ portal.

The actor died late in the evening on August 25 amid long-term health problems at his home in Los Angeles.

According to law enforcement agencies, the police do not consider the death of the artist as violent.

The publication recalls that in 2012, Tim Curry suffered a massive stroke, after which he required brain surgery. A year earlier, when he released his memoir "The Tramp," Curry admitted that he still could not walk.

Tim Curry became widely known after the role of Dr. Frank-en-Ferter in The Rocky Horror Show (1975), as well as the role of Pennywise the clown in the film adaptation of Stephen King's novel "It" (1990). He is also remembered in the image of the concierge Mr. Hector in the comedy "Home Alone 2" (1992).

Curry is a Daytime Emmy Award winner and a three-time Tony Award nominee. The actor has never been married and has no children. I've been using a wheelchair for the last few years.
