The units of the "Southern" grouping of troops took control of the city of Chasov Yar in the DPR. This was announced this morning, July 31, by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
"As a result of the offensive actions of the "Southern" grouping of troops in the Kramatorsk-Druzhkovsky direction, the town of Chasov Yar of the Donetsk People's Republic was liberated," the report says.
As reported by EADaily, Western experts state that the Russian armed forces have made significant progress on Ukraine. The main object of the Russian offensive remains the Pokrovsk area.
