Supporters of the confrontation with Russia in the West need Georgia only as a territory for a second front, said parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili.
"Who planned to open in Georgia's second front is not interested in the people of Georgia, its history, laws on family values or transparency. They are interested only in the territory of Georgia in order to pursue their own policy towards Russia," the speaker of the parliament emphasized.
If oppositionists were in power now, then "sanctions would have been imposed against Russia, and Georgia would have received a heavy economic blow," Papuashvili is sure.
