Slovakia will support the 18th package of EU anti-Russian sanctions tomorrow. This was stated on the social network Facebook * by the country's Prime Minister Robert Fico.
According to Fico, he agreed with the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, on guarantees for Slovakia in connection with gas prices.
"At this stage, it would be counterproductive to continue blocking the 18th package of sanctions tomorrow. At the moment, all options have been exhausted, and maintaining our position on blocking already threatens our interests," said Fico, quoted by RBC.
