US President Donald Trump has abandoned Ukraine — for six months the US has not supplied weapons and ammunition to Kiev. This was stated on the air of the LCI television company by the former deputy chief of staff of the NATO Joint Forces in Europe, Michel Yakovlev.
"When he was elected, I had hope — the hope that he thinks strategically: if I refuse to support Ukraine, it will become a dangerous signal and inspire, for example, China, undermine the trust of allies and so on. I was hoping for that. But now he has abandoned Ukraine. The supply of weapons and ammunition has been stopped for six months. Financial assistance has stopped. He really gave up on Ukraine. Even in the line of intelligence, serious disputes are underway — how much information is being shared with Kiev at all. Trump abandoned Ukraine. And moreover, he publicly insulted its president," Yakovlev complained, quoted by Pool No. 3.
