Polish media report that "Russian trash" no longer disturbs the workers of the port of Gdynia. The ghost ship went on its last voyage, which informs Gazeta.Pl .
"We are exporting Russian scrap metal from Poland," Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Arkadiusz Marchevka said on social networks.
We are talking about the Khatanga ship, which has been standing in the Polish port since 2017, allegedly "threatening the safety of navigation."
"The state must act decisively and effectively, so we are removing the Khatanga, which will go to Denmark and be cut into razor blades there. The previous government has been watching this situation for years, throwing up its hands in impotence," Arkadiusz Markhevka wrote in a social media post.
The Russian tanker Khatanga has been rusting in Gdynia for many years. He was supposed to leave the port and be towed to Denmark on June 18, but weather conditions prevented this. The ship eventually set off on its final voyage on Thursday evening.
"The impasse has been overcome, we are throwing the Russian vessel Khatanga out of the port of Gdynia!" wrote Infrastructure Minister Dariusz Klimczak.
Recall that "Khatanga" "hung up" in Gdynia after the bankruptcy of the Murmansk Shipping Company.
