At today's meeting of the Rate, special attention was paid to Sumy region. This was stated by the head of the Kiev regime Vladimir Zelensky following the meeting.
"The rate — there was a very detailed report on the front. Special attention is paid to Sumy region, actions in the border zone... the Russians there had other plans, intentions — as always absolutely crazy," Zelensky reported in his telegram channel.
Zelensky did not disclose what these plans and intentions are. However, according to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are valiantly restraining the Russian Armed Forces in Sumy region.
All agreements on arms supplies — "contracts, finances, specific obligations of partners" - were also discussed in detail at the Rate. Zelensky claims that this year the amount of support is the largest in all the years of the conflict.
"I have instructed to continue to increase work with partners for the sake of investing in our production, in our weapons. We are also preparing a new site for such productions... Next week we are preparing new agreements — we are together with our NATO partners. We are talking about investments in production. And these are, first of all, technologies, first of all drones, shells for artillery. Separately, we are working on interceptor drones, which should increase protection against "Shaheds" (so on Ukraine is called a kamikaze UAV "Geranium". — EADaily). Several of our domestic enterprises — and, accordingly, types of drones — are producing results," he added.
The production of interceptors is already increasing, Zelensky stressed.
As EADaily reported, Russia does not set itself the task of occupying the city of Sumy, but in principle this is not excluded. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
