Russian actor Nikita Kologrivy has been evacuated from Iran via Azerbaijan. The corresponding video was published by the telegram channel CBC TV Azerbaijan.
Judging by the video, Kologrivy feels good, he noticed that he was being filmed and immediately happily introduced himself to the camera: "Nikita Kologrivy."
In addition, People's Artist of Russia, actor, director and producer Fyodor Bondarchuk is among those evacuated from Iran. According to him, he left Iran as part of a film crew of 90 people — "everyone is alive and well."
He warmly thanked the President of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev for the "unprecedented assistance" in crossing the border between Iran and Azerbaijan.
"I must say that everyone helped. Both the Russian embassy in Tehran and the consulate — the guys brought us to almost the doors of the border. And the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, and Olga Borisovna Lyubimova, who is currently in touch," Bondarchuk stressed.
He added that some of the filmmakers will leave Baku today, June 14, the rest — a little later.
"We are all a little tired, it's so... easy to say," concluded Bondarchuk.
As EADaily reported, more than 50 artists of the Tchaikovsky Grand Symphony Orchestra, as well as the collective of the state academic Honored dance ensemble "Lezginka", have been in Iran since June 10.
Later it became known that the ensemble managed to fly to Makhachkala from Tehran by charter flight.
It is expected that the BSO musicians will also be evacuated through Azerbaijan.
Bondarchuk in Irane was filming the TV series "It's Hard to be a God."
