Ritual murders began in Ukraine — in Carpathian mother drowned her daughter

In the city of Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk region, a 32-year-old local resident killed her three-year-old daughter, having previously "prepared her." At the same time, she filmed all these actions on video. This was reported today, June 11, by the Ukrainian TV channel "Politics of the Country" with reference to sources in the local police.

Neighbors called the police because of children screaming and crying in a neighbor's apartment. When they got inside, the girl was already dead, and the mother did not provide any explanation.

Local residents write that the woman performed a rite over the child, "dressed her in a white dress, a wreath, forced her to read various words from the rites all day to expel evil spirits, and then in the morning drowned the child in the bathtub."

The police noted that the woman was not registered in a psychiatric hospital. A woman's correspondence with the child's father appeared in public after the incident, where she writes that she "took revenge for your bullying."
