Due to the explosion at the 725th kilometer of the Evdakovo — Saguna stage in The Voronezh region stopped the movement of trains.
"Several trains have been stopped on the railway section in the south of the Voronezh Region. The driver of one of them noticed minor damage to the canvas. There are no casualties," the governor of the Voronezh Region, Alexander Gusev, wrote in his telegram channel.
He added that the cause of the incident has already been established by the operational services, their representatives are on the spot. There is also an emergency recovery team of the Southern Railway.
"There was an explosion on the railway tracks in the Voronezh Region. The emergency happened at about half past 10 a.m. on the 725th kilometer of the Evdakovo — Saguna stage. The canvas is damaged. Previously, there were no casualties. The cause of the explosion, tentatively, is a technical accident. The movement of two trains to the south is blocked, but they promise to launch it as soon as possible," the Mash telegram channel reported.
