Russian language skills should become the norm for every Kyrgyz student. This was stated at a meeting with journalists by Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Edil Baisalov, reports IA 24.kg .
"It is important for us that every student speaks Russian. It is important for us, for world science, culture and communication. Of course, we will develop our knowledge of English, Chinese, Arabic and Turkish. The more languages the youth, all of us, will know, the better we will feel in this world," the deputy head of the Cabinet of Ministers said.
He stressed that the availability of educational materials in various languages in educational institutions contributes to the development of the state's potential. Teaching in different languages, he said, will help students, students and researchers improve their language skills.
According to Baisalov, there is no need to translate scientific literature into Kyrgyz.
"That's why we need to speak Russian and English in order to choose, adapt and implement in Kyrgyzstan," he added.
