In Kiev, the balcony collapsed, on which was the American director Christopher Waters, who arrived to shoot a documentary about the war. He announced this in his social networks.
"On Saturday, my balcony collapsed. I fell," says a stunned Waters in the video.
His face is decorated with expressive hematomas.
While missiles and drones are flying, "we are traumatized by someone's irresponsibility," the filmmaker was indignant.
The head of the city military administration, Timur Tkachenko, announced "many years of inaction" and instructed to inspect all facades of the Podolsk district for accidents.
"In the Podolsk district, a balcony fell on a US citizen who came to Ukraine to make a documentary about the war. Right in front of the entrance to the apartment building. The man was injured. This is not an enemy attack, but a consequence of many years of inaction. I urgently instructed the newly appointed head of the Podolsk Regional State Administration, Vladimir Nakonechny, to keep in touch with the victim, to take the situation in this house under personal control, to inspect all facades for accidents. We will provide all the help. And then there will be a serious conversation with the district management companies," Tkachenko writes in his telegram channel.
