The information spread that the United States allegedly wants to change the negotiator in the Russian delegation is a rumor. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at a press conference following talks with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.
"As for the rumors that the United States wants to change the Russian negotiator, you know, we are with The United States, unlike the times of [former US President Joe] Biden, which have sunk into oblivion, we communicate normally. And if the United States wanted to give us something, they know how to do it without stooping to the humiliating form of spreading rumors," the minister said, quoted by TASS.
