At the station in Hamburg, a woman stabbed 12 people, three in critical condition.

​​At Hamburg Central Station, a 39-year-old woman staged a stabbing, 12 people were injured, three in critical condition. This is reported by DW❶.

"A 39-year—old woman attacked passengers of Hamburg Central Station with a knife on one of the platforms on May 23 at about 18.50 - between tracks 13 and 14. 12 people were injured, three injured in critical condition. Some of the injured were assisted by medics right in the train cars, which was located at the scene of the attack," the DW❶ Main telegram channel writes.

Due to the incident, train traffic at the station has been completely stopped. The police believe that the woman acted alone, her motives are not specified.

Hamburg Central Station is one of the busiest transport hubs in Germany, and the carrying of weapons, including knives, is prohibited at the station and in Hamburg public transport, the TC notes.
