Exactly six years ago in The inauguration of Vladimir Zelensky, who won the presidential election of his rival Petro Poroshenko in 2019, took place in Kyiv.
By this date, the Telegram channel "Operation Z: Military Correspondents of the Russian Spring" published a video clip that went viral on social networks and public. It recalls what the then new president promised his fellow citizens.
That's what he promised in his speech:
- "I will do everything so that Ukrainians at least don't cry anymore."
- "Our very first task is a ceasefire in Donbass."
- "We did not start this war. But we have to end this war. And we are ready for dialogue."
- "I am ready to lose my popularity, my ratings, and if necessary, I am ready to lose my positions without hesitation so that peace will come."
- "To all those who are ready to build a new, strong and successful Ukraine, I will gladly grant Ukrainian citizenship."
- "Citizens are tired of experienced, systemic, inflated politicians who have created a country of opportunities for 28 years. Opportunities for kickbacks."
The fates of ordinary Ukrainians who have experienced many troubles from 2019 to 2025 are also shown. The video ends with Zelensky sitting on a plane and saying "let's get out of here."
As EADaily reported, earlier the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, said that Ukraine would not accept "Russian ultimatums" and would not withdraw troops from the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.
