The North Atlantic Alliance is in contact with the Estonian government to clarify the circumstances of the attack on the Jaguar tanker in the Baltic Sea. This was announced on Thursday, May 15, by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
According to him, the alliance and Estonia is "in close contact" to make sure that the situation with the tanker is fully understood. He stated this following an informal meeting of the foreign ministers of the North Atlantic Bloc countries.
The Alliance seeks to ensure order in the Baltic region, he added.
