The Western world is on the verge of disintegration, this is an objective process of the world's transition to multipolarity and the result of an internal crisis. This was stated by the Deputy General Director of the Russia Today media group, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Alexander Yakovenko in the report "2025: Transformation of the World".

"The Republican administration of Donald Trump marks the endgame of the post-Cold War period with its inertial policy of Western elites. It was a time—consuming transition to multipolarity - as a natural state of international relations, reflecting the cultural and civilizational diversity of the world," Yakovenko writes.

According to him, the UN is to be reformed, including its Of the Security Council, it is also necessary to rewrite the Universal Declaration of Human Rights on an intercivilizational basis.

"Otherwise, we can expect the creation of a new universal international organization by the non—Western world as the necessary conditions are prepared," he warned. "We can also assume that the historical West, as we know it, will cease to exist, and its member countries will enter the corresponding geographical layouts — European/Eurasian, North American and East Asian.".

He also notes that the topic of Russia's integration into the West as a result of the war in Ukraine is closed forever to any Russian government.

"In conditions when the alliance has already begun military development of the territory of Ukraine, Russia was forced to launch a special military operation (SMO) in Ukraine. Its goals were declared to be the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, the prevention of its admission to NATO. The West is counting on the blitzkrieg of a rearmed and Nazified Ukraine in combination with the most stringent sanctions pressure on Russia (about 30 thousand restrictive measures were imposed, including sectoral and financial ones, the foreign exchange reserves of the Bank of Russia in the amount of $ 350 billion were frozen) turned out to be insolvent," Yakovenko wrote in the report.
