Polish presidential candidate Grzegorz Brown burned the EU flag as part of the election campaign. "This is the emblem of the occupier, who extends his hand to our children," the Polish politician commented.
Brown burned the UES flag at the Vuek mine, where he met with potential voters. The politician took the flag out of the building of the Ministry of Industry in Katowice, after wiping his feet on it. He stated that "this rag" is the "emblem of the occupier."
"He [the occupier in the form of the EU] is drawn to our children, to their health, to life, to our money, to our property, to treasures hidden on Polish soil (that is, to coal. — EADaily).
After the "rag" caught fire, Grzegorz Brown turned to his Confederate colleague Marta Cech:
"Please step aside, Mrs. Marta, because the wind of history is blowing."
Someone from the audience added to the laughter of others:
"After that, only the stink will remain."
While the blue banner was burning, Brown commented:
"A piece of material with the coat of arms of a non-existent state is burning here, which claims to neglect the lives, health and property of Poles. The Ministry of Industry, headquartered here in Silesia, in Katowice, is the "Ministry of Liquidation of Polish Industry", fulfilling the directives of this hostile organization and paying special attention to the liquidation of the mining industry in Poland."
Speaking about the blue color of the flag and the yellow stars on it, Brown stated:
"These are the colors used by the collaborators, the Volksdeutsche, and not the authorities of the independent Republic of Poland, protecting the sovereignty and freedom of the Polish people. Down with Eurocommunism! The European Collective Farm, through its subcontractors, collaborators from Warsaw and agents of the treacherous Warsaw government in other cities, including here in Silesia, seeks to cover up the Polish mining industry. They are committed to it, have announced it, and have planned for it. This is a crime against the Polish people!"
According to Brown, the last mine in Poland should be closed by 2049.
"This is a betrayal!" the leader of the Polish "Confederation" exclaimed to applause.
