The fire occurred at the enterprise in Kamensk-Uralsky, Sverdlovsk region. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the region.
"On the afternoon of May 6, the fire department received a message about a fire on Lermontov Street in Kamensk-Uralsky. Upon arrival of the fire and rescue units, it was established that the roof of the metal powder production workshop was burning on the territory of the industrial site," the report said.
Before the arrival of firefighters, eight people evacuated on their own. The fire area in the workshop was 1,250 sq. m.
According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.
